This pretty vine is growing on a chain link fence on my property. It produces berries in beautiful, vivid colors. A friend remarked that they remind her of Easter egg colors. No one I know can figure out what kind of plant it is.
Some of the berries were even brighter a few weeks ago. I don't know if they fell off or were eaten by birds.
This looks like "Porcelain Berry Vine," (Ampelopsis brevipedunculata), which is just beautiful, but can be invasive. Keep an eye on it, and just be sure it's not spreading all over the world! Once you let it go, you're done!

Thanks!
The porcelain berry hasn't gone too crazy yet, but I'll be sure to keep it off of the shrubs that are nearby.
It sounds like it will be right at home with the bamboo and the muscadine vines that are trying to take over my yard. I don't know what the people who owned my house previously were thinking - they definitely weren't concerned about the invasiveness of their plant selections!
Hey Viridian - Maybe we can do what the UK does and start having people hold National Collections of plants. You can have the National Collection of Invasives!
