Hi,
I finally got around to registering as a co-hort. I receive and love the mag. and the e-letter. I hope I'm posting this in the right place. I live near New Hampshire coast; but this is my first year here. I moved back to New England since being in upstate NY for 15 yrs. So my roots have to re-establish  There are some differences between the locations: what thrives and doesn't (one diff. is ocean moderation & moisture) so I need lots of input! I look forward to interaction with co-horts

Welcome to the forum, Doobee! There's lots of knowledge and enthusiasm here, and you'll enjoy it. Just curious - where in upstate did you live? It's a big area, and there are many different climatic conditions. Looking forward to your answer!

Welcome, Doobee. Can't help with the planting. I'm zone 8a. But I'll match you for enthusiasm.

Thank you for your warm welcomes! I use to live 15 miles north of Albany, NY - yes, the zones are the same but there are differences. Even if your speeding down New Hampshire highways you notice alot more pine trees. The wild blueberries on our property love the acid from the pine needles. Before our stint in NY we lived in Atkinson, NH - which is on MA border...now I'm further north. (I responded to two of you: but sorry your names escape me -- is there any way of seeing the message(s) I reply to - when composing my own message?)  Hope you are having a good day!
